Now is the Time
CHBC’s Now is the Time Campaign is our effort to renovate the church building that God has blessed us with.
On Christmas Eve of 2022, CHBC experienced water damage from a frozen pipe above the Worship Center. We suffered significant damage to the Worship Center, Welcome Center, Choir Room, and PreK wing. While making the necessary repairs from this damage, we took the opportunity to update the Worship Center and begin other renovations around the building for future ministry.
Areas that have been renovated thus far include the Worship Center, Welcome Center, First Floor Hallways, 2nd Floor Adult Classrooms, and the Children's Church/Preteen Room. The renovations include new flooring, paint, ceiling tiles, and new lighting.
Our next project will be the Youth area on the 2nd floor (7th-12th Grade)
We are hoping to renovate the youth space during the summer of 2024 if possible. This project has an estimated cost of $495,000 and includes new flooring, paint, ceiling tiles, lighting, a new stage, and audio/video upgrades. In order to accomplish this goal, we must raise the necessary funds before the project would be completed in September 2024.
